MIDDLE-EARTH MAGIC RETURNS: THE LORD OF THE RINGS TRILOGY COMES BACK TO THEATERS

The Lord of the Rings trilogy is returning to cinema later this year. The three movies will receive new showings in cinemas, with fans able to purchase tickets to go see them once more on the big screen.

Joining the wave of older movies making a comeback to the big screen, the Lord of the Rings will also be available for viewers to see once more at the movies. Unfortunately, only select theaters will be showing the trilogy once more.

The Lord of the Rings Returns To The Big Screen

Not only is The Lord of the Rings making a return to cinema's this summer, but the extrended versions will be the ones showcased. The versions shown in the movies will also be the 4K Remastered versions.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, fans can purchase tickets through Fathom Events for AMC, Cinemark and Regal theaters. The movies will be shown on three separate days back to back, because let's be real, who can watch all three extended versions in one sitting?

The Fellowship of the Ring will be shown on June 8, while the Two Tower is set for June 9 and the grand finale, the Return of the King will be shown on June 10.

So, for any big Lord of the Rings fans out there who want to re-experience, or maybe experience for the first time, these movies in the theaters, now is your chance.
