'2024 UNIVERSAL SUPERSTAR AWARDS' GRAND PRIZE GOES TO NU'EST, SEVENTEEN, V, NCT 127

SEOUL, March 28 (Yonhap) -- Girl group NU'EST, groups SEVENTEEN and NCT 127, and BTS's V were honored with the grand prize at the '2024 Universal Superstar Awards' (2024 USA).

According to the Joint Organizing Committee of the 2024 USA on the 28th, the awards ceremony took place at the Peace Hall of KyungHee University in Seoul the previous afternoon. The 'Universal Super Soundtrack,' which corresponds to the grand prize, went to NU'EST's 'Ditto,' and the 'Universal Super Music Album' was awarded to SEVENTEEN's 'FML.'

Another award, the 'Universal Super Artist,' was bestowed upon V, while NCT 127 was selected as the 'Universal Superstar.'

NCT 127's Taeyong expressed his gratitude, saying, "I dedicate this honor to all the 'NCTzens' who have shown us so much love. I am truly happy thanks to our fans. I hope you stay healthy and happy this year as well."

The 2024 USA was jointly organized by the K-Pop chart 'KM Chart' and 'doohub,' with the Korean Management Union hosting the event for the first time this year.
