JASON KELCE REVEALS HOW MUCH WEIGHT HE'S LOST SINCE NFL RETIREMENT

Jason Kelce is making notable progress in his weight loss journey after retiring from the NFL in March 2024.

In a recent interview with GQ that was posted on Wednesday, June 26, the NFL star shared that he's lost nearly 20 pounds so far. During his professional football career, Kelce, 36, noted he weighed around 295 pounds but is eager to lose even more weight and enjoy a healthier lifestyle, noting that he doesn't "want to get too small."

He continued to the outlet, "I think a lot of guys, especially offensive linemen, they lose too much weight, and then they look like bobbleheads because their neck gets so small, but their head stays the same size... I feel like for some reason, 250 to 260 feels like I'll still be big and be happy with the way I look without having a six-pack. But I'll still be able to have that stature a little bit."

Currently, the former Philadelphia Eagles center weighs about 277 pounds. He admitted to GQ, "It's hard to imagine another nearly 20 lbs. coming off, being honest with you. But my back already feels better. My knees already feel better. So another 20 lbs. hopefully will make that much more adept at playing with my children."

Kelce first mentioned his weight loss goals during an April episode of his New Heights podcast with his brother Travis Kelce and guest star Arnold Schwarzenegger. He expressed his excitement about slimming down, and mentioned his goal at the time. "My goal is two pounds every week, lose it. I want to lose it, but maintain my muscle mass," he stated, emphasizing the importance of meeting his macro goals.

Recently, Jason was spotted at his brother Travis's girlfriend's (who is pop star Taylor Swift) Eras Tour at London's Wembley Stadium. He and his wife, Kylie Kelce, were seen having a grand time on Friday, June 21, in the VIP tent alongside celebs like Salma Hayek, Tom Cruise and Beatles legend Paul McCartney. This was Jason's first time experiencing the tour, which he later gushed about on New Heights. He talked about getting to meet Prince William and his kids, noting that nine-year-old Princess Charlotte, was "the highlight" of the night.
