15 Underrated Disney Movies

Movies made by Walt Disney Productions (1929-1983) and Walt Disney Pictures (1983-present) have delighted audiences of all ages for almost a century now. Whether the Disney logo appears on an animated or live-action feature, audiences have come to expect a certain level of quality and entertainment value from the Disney brand. That said, not every movie can achieve blockbuster status, win multiple awards, and garner universal critical praise. Some of the movies explored here bombed or underwhelmed during their theatrical runs, got picked apart by credits, or didn’t find their audiences until years after their initial release. Others are still waiting for new generations to rediscover them and give them a second lease on life. Whatever the reasons the following underrated Disney movies didn’t get the love they deserve, the age of Disney+ and streaming presents an excellent opportunity to rediscover them.
