CHRIS PRATT UP FOR JOINING ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER IN NEW TERMINATOR MOVIE

Chris Pratt and his famous father-in-law, Arnold Schwarzenegger, have yet to co-star in a new movie together. Perhaps a Terminator franchise film with the two in the leads is not out of the question.

In a conversation with TMZ, Pratt was asked about the possibility of making a movie with Schwarzenegger, who's been married to the FUBAR star's daughter, Katherine Schwarzenegger, since 2019. After Pratt suggested that people would "lose their minds" over such a movie, the actor was specifically asked if he'd be up for doing a Terminator film. Pratt was very enthusiastic when he responded that he's "in" for potentially doing a Terminator film with Schwarzenegger.

Star Wars: Ahsoka's Rosario Dawson is among the new cast members revealed for Netflix's upcoming Terminator series.

"Oh, man, that would be pretty great, wouldn't it? Do you think people would lose their minds? Wow," Pratt said. When asked if he would do a Terminator movie with Schwarzenegger, Pratt said, "Great! Okay! I'm in, sign me up!"

Chris Pratt Names Favorite Arnold Schwarzenegger Movies

Pratt was also asked about his favorite films that star his father-in-law. One of three titles he named happens, The Running Man, has a new adaptation in the works, and Pratt commented on how he's looking forward to the new movie with Top Gun: Maverick star Glen Powell taking over the role. Pratt went on to name another iconic sci-fi action film along with a pair of 90s comedies as three other movies he loved that starred Schwarzenegger.

Edward Furlong speaks about the good and the bad with his brief return as John Connor in Terminator: Dark Fate.

"I know that they're remaking The Running Man with Glen Powell," he said. "I'm really excited for that. That's a fantastic movie. I love The Running Man. Might be one of my favorites."

Pratt added, "Of course, Predator, the OG Predator movie, that's pretty good. Kindergarten Cop is amazing, you know? He kind of can't miss. Jingle All the Way... why not?"

The biggest issue with getting Pratt and Schwarzenegger together for a Terminator film is that the franchise will likely go in another direction if another installment gets made. Schwarzenegger has said he's finished with starring in Terminator films, putting the blame on himself for 2019's Dark Fate coming up short at the box office. The future of the franchise remains unclear, though it's been reported that James Cameron is planning to get another movie made. No details about potential actors or a storyline for that project have been revealed, however.

Schwarzenegger can be seen in the upcoming second season of FUBAR on Netflix, which is now in production.
