DAREDEVIL'S VINCENT D'ONOFRIO JOINS DARREN ARONOFSKYS STAR-STUDDED CRIME THRILLER

Per Deadline, D’Onofrio is set to join a star-studded ensemble cast for Aronofsky's next film which already features the talents of Austin Butler, Zoë Kravitz, Regina King, Matt Smith, Liev Schreiber, Will Brill, Bad Bunny and Griffin Dunne. Caught Stealing is based on the series of novels written by Charlie Huston and follows "Hank Thompson (Butler), a burned-out former baseball player, as he’s unwittingly plunged into a wild fight for survival in the downtown criminal underworld of ’90s NYC."

Vincent D'Onofrio really wants to play a character that's set to have his own movie in the DCU.

Caught Stealing will serve as Aronofky's feature follow-up to The Whale, which earned Brendan Fraser a Best Actor win at the 2023 Academy Awards. The acclaimed director most recently directed Postcard from Earth, a film about an hour in length that was meant specifically to be shown at the brand-new Sphere in Las Vegas. Shot in 18k resolution, the film was meant to show off what the Sphere was capable of, and to deliver a groundbreaking experience that can't be achieved in a normal cinema.

D'Onofrio played the iconic Kingpin for all three seasons of Netflix's Daredevil, and recently reprised the role in the MCU in the Disney+ shows Hawkeye and Echo. D'Onofrio's portrayal has always been well-received by fans, who are eager to see him cross paths once again with his least favorite lawyer, Matt Murdock in Daredevil: Born Again.

Returning cast members for Daredevil: Born Again include Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Wilson Bethel as Benjamin 'Dex' Poindexter/Bullseye, Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/The Punisher, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, and Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson. Daredevil: Born Again is expected to drop on Disney+ in March 2025.
