DUA LIPA 'TO PLAY WEMBLEY STADIUM IN BIGGEST SHOW TO-DATE' AFTER WOWING GLASTONBURY

Dua Lipa is set to perform at Wembley Stadium for what will be her biggest show to-date, according to reports.

The English-Albanian singer, 29, gave an absolutely electrifying performance at Glastonbury festival over the weekend where she headlined the Pyramid Stage for the first time.

Now, insiders have claimed the Houdini hit-maker - who topped the charts with her third album Radical Optimism in May - is set to follow in the footsteps of the likes of Madonna and Taylor Swift by playing to a 90,000-strong crowd at Wembley next summer followed by a US tour.

“Her last tour was as good as sold out, but it was an arena tour,” an insider told The Sun. “To make the jump to stadiums is amazing, especially when she's only on her third album.

“It's looking like she will play one date at Wembley in June and a full-scale tour across America.”

The source noted it will be a poignant gig for the pop star as it will show the work she has been doing since moving to London from Kosovo at the age of 15 has paid off.

It’s not just the music world Lipa has been taking by storm, she has also successfully made the transition into acting.

Lipa’s credits already include 2023’s mega box office hit Barbie movie alongside Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, while this year she appeared in spy action comedy Argylle with Bryce Dallas Howard and Henry Cavill.
