Country music stars continue selling out Las Vegas Strip hotel theaters and extending their engagements to the delight of their fans — and casino operators.

When Resorts World opened on the Strip in December 2021, it marked the beginning of country superstar Carrie Underwood's "Reflection" residency, which continues Oct. 16, 18, 19, 23, 25 and 26 and March 26, 28, 29, April 2, 4 and 5 in 2025.

A newcomer to residencies on the Strip is "The Voice" TV show and country music star Blake Shelton, who recently opened his Ole Red bar on the Las Vegas Strip at Caesars' Horseshoe Resort Casino.

Shelton will headline his first residency on the Strip with six shows at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace Feb. 5-15, 2025.

While several popular country music residencies are packing the theaters in Vegas, some others are closing down on the Strip.

Country star Luke Bryan ended his engagement at Resorts World on Jan. 6, 2024, and Miranda Lambert closed her "Velvet Rodeo" residency at Planet Hollywood on April 6, 2024.

Garth Brooks adds final Vegas residency shows

And now legendary country singer Garth Brooks on Sept. 13 revealed the final nine shows of his Plus One residency at the Caesars Entertainment's  (CZR)  Colosseum at Caesars Palace on the Las Vegas Strip on three weekends in February and March 2025.

"I can't believe it has come and gone, already," Brooks said in a statement. "The Caesars gig has been my favorite so far. No setlists, no rules, just the music and the listener comes first. I love that! These last shows are going to be hard for me, emotionally, because I can't stand the thought of this residency being over."

Brooks' residency has featured freeform shows performed spontaneously without setlists and with varying instrumentation that can include just a fiddle, percussion and backing vocals to a whole band, the statement said. On some occasions, Brooks welcomes special guest performers.

The shows are also phone-free events, which provide the audience with a QR code after the show for viewing photographs of the performance taken from the stage and crowd.

The country superstar opened his sold-out Garth Brooks/Plus One residency in May 2023, running for 27 weekend shows through July 2024. His shows were so popular that Brooks added 18 more shows in September, October and December 2024.

Brooks has a long history of performing in Vegas, dating back to his five-year Garth at Wynn residency that began in December 2009 at the Encore Theatre and ended in January 2014. He also included Sin City on his Stadium World Tour with a stop at Allegiant Stadium on July 10, 2021.

The country star has released a boxed set celebrating the Plus One residency, "777 Jackpot," which includes 77 songs on seven discs and a custom book of photos that features a covers project containing a collaboration album with material fans can't find anywhere else, the statement said.

The boxed set is available at Caesars.com, Shopify, Ticketmaster.com, TalkShopLive and at Caesars property locations.
