BRAD PITT F1 MOVIE FINALLY HAS A NAME!

Further details surrounding the new Apple Studios Formula 1 movie have been released, including the much-anticipated name of the picture.

On Friday it was confirmed that the movie, starring Brad Pitt, will be called… F1.

On-location filming is continuing at this weekend’s F1 British Grand Prix, at Silverstone.

The movie will see Pitt star as a former driver, Sonny Hayes, who returns to Formula 1 alongside rookie team-mate Joshua Pearce, played by Damson Idris, at the fictional APXGP team.

APXGP has had a presence in the paddock, with its own motorhome, along with a pit garage next to the real life Formula 1 teams.

Further details surrounding the plot have been kept under wraps.The production team are set to attend several Grands Prix across the remainder of 2024 to continue capturing scenes.

A teaser for F1 will be released on Sunday as part of the build-up to the British Grand Prix.

F1 is being directed by Joseph Kosinski and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, the pair behind the successful Top Gun: Maverick, while the film’s score will be carried out by Hans Zimmer. Seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton is involved as a producer and script consultant.

F1 will also star Javier Bardem, Tobias Menzies, Kerry Condon, Sarah Niles, Kim Bodnia and Samson Kayo.

F1 will be distributed in theaters internationally in June 25, 2025, and in North America on June 27, 2025.
