A short time ago, Twitter/X scoopster WrestleVotes posted Bronson Reed would not be involved in the Triple Threat with Sheamus & Ludwig Kaiser that was previously announced for WWE Raw tonight (Sept. 2).
That was quickly followed by an announcement from Raw General Manager Adam Pearce confirming Reed’s removal from that WWE Intercontinental Title #1 Contenders Tournament matc. Pearce also revealed that reason the big Aussie was being pulled — he tested positive for COVID.
“Bronson Reed, medically unable to compete tonight, has COVID — out of the Intercontinental Championship Contenders Triple Threat. And who steps in? Well, I can assure you I’m working on that. And you will have an answer... tonight, 8/7 Central, only on USA.”
