WWE star Rhea Ripley and AEW star Buddy Matthews have tied the knot!

The pair announced the big news alongside a joint Instagram post on Wednesday, June 26, that showed the two locking lips at what appeared to be the altar during their wedding ceremony.

The pair appeared to be in the middle of the ceremony as they sealed the deal with a kiss. A large red neon sign behind them read, “Til Death.” The couple echoed the words in the post’s caption, revealing the date of their wedding: “23.06.24.”

The duo met while Matthews had been wrestling for the WWE under the name “Buddy Murphy” in 2021. The two Australian wrestlers eventually confirmed their relationship the following year, according to TMZ

Earlier this year, Ripley opened up about how the two supported each other despite being in different wrestling leagues.

“He knows that when he was in WWE, he hit a peak there,” Ripley said on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast. “The platform that I’m on [in WWE] is higher. I feel like he doesn’t get threatened by that and he says [he] doesn’t either, so I take his word. I trust him. I believe him.”

“He’s very comfortable in what he’s doing,” she added. “He loves to help me along the way and help me grow, which is what a relationship should be.”
