“AND JUST LIKE THAT” SEASON 3 ADDS HEARTTHROBS FROM “MORTAL KOMBAT”, “THE AFFAIR”, AND MORE

The guy behind Trey Atwood from "The O.C." grew up to cross over to "Sex and the City."

If you live in New York City, then you know And Just Like That season 3 has already begun filming. You can't cut through Washington Square Park or pop by the Strand bookstore without running into the crew. But for everyone else living outside the bubble of the Big Apple, here's some concrete updates on the Sex and the City sequel series.

Mehcad Brooks, Jonathan Cake, and Logan Marshall-Green (Trey Atwood from The O.C.!) join the cast in guest-starring roles. And even though we know nothing else about these parts, it's a safe bet they are all handsome men in Carrie Bradshaw's orbit.

Brooks is seen frequently on Law & Order as Det. Jalen Shaw, though he's also planning to return soon-ish as the muscled Jax for the Mortal Kombat movie sequel. Brooks and Cake share one show in common: Desperate Housewives. Brooks played Matthew Applewhite, the son of Alfre Woodard's Betty, while Cake played Chuck Vance, the one-time policeman boyfriend Carrie Cross' Bree Van de Kamp. Cake has been seen more recently on shows Dinner with the Parents, Stargirl, and The Affair.

Marshall-Green hails from shows like Big Sky, When They See Us, and Quarry, as well as movies like Spider-Man: Homecoming and Upgrade. Although his following dates back to the early aughts with The O.C.

Meanwhile, Sebastiano Pigazzi, who plays Anthony Marentino's Italian lover Giuseppe, and Dolly Wells, who appeared in the last two episodes of season 2 as BBC producer Joy, are now series regulars for season 3. That's good news for Miranda Hobbs, considering Sara Ramirez will not be returning as Che Diaz for the next batch of episodes.

"I think for Miranda, Miranda and Che were really pretty done," Nixon recently told Entertainment Weekly of her former corporate lawyer and Ramirez's comedian. "I think that Miranda and Che had kind of run the gamut of what they were going to be to each other."

Confirmed for the season 3 cast apart from the main trio of Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis are Sarita Choudhury, Nicole Ari Parker, Mario Cantone, David Eigenberg, Evan Handler, Christopher Jackson, Niall Cunningham, Cathy Ang, Alexa Swinton, John Corbett, and Rosie O'Donnell.
