MY ADVENTURES WITH SUPERMAN'S SUPERGIRL ACTOR REVEALS DREAM DCU ROLE
Kiana Madeira has taken on the role of an iconic DC character by voicing Supergirl in the hit animated show My Adventures with Superman. A shift to the DCU may not be outside the realm of possibility, and Madeira already knows who she'd most want to play.
On Reddit, Madeira fielded some fan questions in promotion of the show. She was asked about another role she'd want to play in James Gunn's DCU, and it seems like it was an easy choice for her to pick Zatanna. There have been attempts in recent years to get a Zatanna project off the ground, but they never made their way out of development hell. If such a project gets underway at DC Studios anytime soon, Madeira will be hoping that Gunn will give her a call.

Answering other questions from fans of the animated television series, Madeira also commented on landing the role of Supergirl in My Adventures with Superman. It's not her first big role in a TV series, as she previously starred in shows like Really Me, Sacred Lies, and Trinkets. Madeira is also known for her roles in the Fear Street and After franchises. However, My Adventures with Superman was her first foray into animation, and she has enjoyed venturing into this new territory with her career. Madeira has also been blown away by the positive fan response to her Supergirl.

With Superman & Lois Season 4 airing soon, there are many pivotal Arrowverse episodes that fans must watch before the final season begins.
"I was soooo excited when I got the role! This is my very first animation so I was a little nervous but mostly eager to get in the booth," she said. "My first audition was just a recording that I did on my phone while I was traveling (I was in Barcelona at the time), and that led to a Zoom callback with Jake [Wyatt] and the other creators/producers. About a week after the callback I got a call that I booked the role."
She added, "I am honestly blown away by the praise and positive response. A part of me is not surprised just because I think the writers did such a good job at making her so HUMAN (although she is not hahah). She has such a big heart and I'm really glad that everyone is receiving her in this way!!"
