Now, Netflix has announced casting for The Sandman season 2. In total, the network has cast nine new actors for the sophomore season of the series. In addition to the casting, Netflix announced who will play what role for all the nine new cast members. This includes major characters Thor, Odin, Orpheus, and Loki, who will be played by O'Fuarain, Russell, O'Connor, and Fox, respectively. Moore will play Wanda, Skelly will play Nuala, Booth will play Cluracan, Gleeson will play Puck, and Coogan will voice Barnabas in the upcoming season.

The new Sandman cast is a mixture of established talent and more rising stars. Coogan is perhaps one of the bigger names of the bunch, bringing with him experience working on films such as Philomena, 24 Hour Party People, and Alan Partridge. Moore is widely known for her work playing Angel on Pose, as well as a character in the acclaimed film Queen & Slim. Gleeson appeared in 27 episodes of Game of Thrones as Joffrey Baratheon, whereas Russell arrives from the 2009 Sherlock Holmes as well as The Wolfman and King Arthur.

These latest nine additions aren't the only actors announced to join the cast of The Sandman season 2 so far.
